Your favorite place to order garden veggie seeds & sets?

Still some weeks to go here in the Northeast before getting the vegetable garden in, but never to early start planning. Too often I wait so long that local sources are limited. Would appreciate hearing from others about what sites they use & trust for quality vegetable seeds & plants?

My wife the serious gardener says Johnny's is the place to order seeds.

I have been ordering from Gurneys for the past 30+ years.

Vessey’s is our choice. They were originally seeds developed in the Maritimes for the Maritimes. They have been bought by Monsanto but still our first choice.

I also use Vesseys. I’ve tried seeds from other companies & found the # of seeds & quality better at vesseys.

We use Burpee - for us a local company that invests in the local towns.
Never had an issue with an order so far in my lifetime.
Seed quality is usually good, not perfect, but they try to help if an issue happens.

I mostly just buy what I need at Southern States.

My first choice is Fedco. Catalog Search - Fedco Seeds Johnny's Johnny’s Selected Seeds | Supporting Farms & Gardens Since 1973 is also good, but they tend to be more pricey. Both of these are in Maine, and when I can't get what I want there I go to Burpees.

I haven't even thought about seeds for this year though, as I have so much left from the last two years that I should be good to go.
I didn't even order fruit trees, and I can't remember when the last year was that I didn't do that.

We like to grow (or try to) different heirloom variety's so the smaller places work for us even though you pay a little more for less seed. I've bought from most of the places listed above over the years and here's a few more.
