Your tractor\'s on fire!!
Stopped at the local nursery the other day. They are friends of mine and exclusively use Kubotas. We were talking tractors and my friend said that his grandfather finally quit loading customers trucks with bulk goods after he took the side off a new Dodge truck. The old gentleman is about 80-85 and works everyday at the nursery he founded back in the 40's.
We traded stories and talked about the B2150s they have and their B20. He said that he got a call from a neighbor on Friday telling him to get down to the lower field, the tractor was on fire. He grabbed a fire extinguisher and ran like a mad man to the field. When he got there, gramps was on one of the B2150s with a box scraper attached and was leveling the field. There was smoke coming from the engine compartment and engulfing the tractor, leaving about a 25-30 foot trail behind the tractor. Seems the alternator froze up and gramps was still happily leveling the field while the fan belt melted down.
