Hi all you BX owners out there.

Well I have posted before about the sticking hydro pedal but never got a response from Kubota (figures) and my dealer says to spray silicone over the linkages. Ok, I will bite.

Well I used a complete bottle and got ZERO effect out of it. I remember reading about cradle bearings (internal) and also about a bad bearing on the linkages.

So, has anyone gotten a response from Kubota or anything that states a problem (safety, mechanical, etc)????

This pedal thingy is unreal…….

Zero help from a dealer? Load it on the tractor and deliver it to them, if it's a BX it's gotta be under warranty. You're dealer sucks.
Call Kubota and tell them what your dealer IS NOT DOING.

My dealer is helping, but his corrective action is to spray silicone on linakges (which I have done).

He is trying to help, but I will have to call Kubota this morning.

I am wondering if the swashplate was replaced when the cradle bearing were replaced.
From the looks in the service manual either or could possibly cause the sticking pedal If this is indeed the case Then a MAJOR teardown of the transmission is involved. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Another mystery! Never had the creep problem until I recently read about it in the posts! Moved most of the lawn - a good two hours, lots of backing up (trees all over the place), a nice warm day, and at the end of the session - NO creep! Wonder what tomorrow will bring.

UPDATE . Well I finally got very upset and called Kubota and spoke to a BX god! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

He said that sometimes the silicone spray will help but usually not. So he said that it is either something in the linkage or internal. If, internal it is a HUGE job.

So if you have this problem try the "spray" but I bet you will need to go to the next level.

Been there and done that, it is INTERNAL, cradle bearings. My dealer had mine 2 times on this, second time on his dime for hauling, he got it fixed that time.

IT did take a call to K from the dealer to "discover" what was going on

Just fired mine up for the first time since I got it back for the air cleaner bracket kit and pedal 'fix'. The pedal seems to have a stronger return spring on it, but it sure ain't fixed. It's all clean and lubed.... Again, they claim the the BX's do not have a problem with the pedal sticking.

Not sure what the next step is. Split the case for 'cradle bearings'.. ?? ugh.
