this is may third season with my z force zero turn trouble free until now. i've put three pto belts on it this season alone. last season i put two. if they get wet or something gets caught in the blade and the belt gets hot thats it. the blades quits spinning in high grass too. the belt has to be precisely the rigt size too or it will spinning too slowly. the belts are'nt cheap either.

Welcome to the forum from Oklahoma. Have you checked your deck spindle bearings or your tensioner pulley/spring? Sounds like you've got something loose causing too much play in the belt. Also, since you mentioned price I'll presume you're using the correct fractional belt and not an automotive belt.

I would check your tensioner pulley and see if the bearing has a lot of play in it. I had a similar problem and that was what the cause was.

What model Z-Force is this? I never had any belt issues with my Z-Force 44" fab'd deck.
