I have a very large HOA mowing contract which includes 35 acres of grass mowing, field mowing, brush cutting and 15 acres of hay to put into round bales.
Anyway, lots of the mowing is along common roads in the development. I have to mow along the edges and also use the zero turn to blow off the same roads when clippings blow the wrong way.
I decided to install a beacon to increase my visibility to drivers to help avoid a catastrophe. I had a solid beacon I removed from my recently sold F-550 and a spare LED rocker switch and so I didnt have to spend a penny. Im cheap (2 kids in college) so thats a cheap thrill for me
I also did not want to drill holes in the ZD metal if possible. I bolted the beacon mount to an existing bolt on the cowl.
So heres the end product I came with.
