Zetor 5211
I have a Zetor 5211 and whenever I want to use it it wont start because the battery is dead. We went all through the wiring and traced wires and replaced bad wires and put a battery cut off switch to ensure the battery wouldn't bleed. After that we put a new battery and it worked fine for a month or two but now every time I need to feed I have to jump it off. The problem is that it takes probably 30 mins to jump it because the battery is so big, and once I get it started and let it run I can't stop it because once I kill it I can't start it again without jumping it. I'm temped to sell it but when it starts it works great (besides not having brakes; If y'all have any tips on brake repair that would help) If y'all have any idea why or how it's doing this please help. Thanks!

Have you tested the output of the alternator?

Checked that the brushes on the starter motor are in good shape? If not the starter is very sluggish.
Does your brakes leak, hang or just not there? Quite common to have a brake job on them, parts are very cheap.

Call to Peter Laynicka - technical support for ZETOR North America - 717-576-4116 or visit ZETOR web pages Contacts - ZETOR NORTH AMERICA. Agvg writes true the spare parts for ZETOR tractors are very cheap - order what is wrong or contact the nearest dealer.
My experiences with ZETOR tractors are great - a tireless, low-fuel helper.
