I am replacing the PTO and blade drive belts on Zforce 44... How the heck do I adjust tension on the idler pulley(s)? Idlers are spring loaded and I see no adjustment. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
When removing the old belt the manual says "loosen the belt retaining bolt" - what bolt? There is not a belt retaining bolt on the deck (that I can find).
Also, manual says when reinstalling belts - "do not over tighten. Adjust idler pulley so that a ten pound pull deflects the belt about 1/2 inch"
Nothing that I can find will allow me to adjust the idler pulley(s).
Anyone got experience with one of these yet?
thanks!

I'm not really any help but I just bought a Z-force 44 about two weeks ago and I love it. It's the first zero turn and I'm telling you one thing it cut my yard mowing in half or better. How long have you had yours and how many hours do you have on it?
I will look in my manuals and see what I can find.
