Gravely ZT1540
I have been looking through this forum and decided to join. I have a Gravely ZT1540 that came with 316-2200 Hydro-Gear drives. These drives initially had 3/4" shafts that would break over time........after replacing a few, I upgraded to 1" shafts. I have had the covers off to replace these shafts and bull drive gears and seals and what not. I have the manuals, service manuals. My question is the right side drive has acted as if it has no power since it first broke the axel......it comes up to speed fine.......just has no power to pull anything or go up a hill. I have purged the system........changed the oil......checked the linkage. I have finally decided to pull the drive and come here to ask which specific part or area can contribute to this lack of power? The only thing I have not done is to pull the pump it self and check the screen filter.
