The Forterra range tractors are excellent in their robustness and performance. You can find three variants in the Forterra range: The basic Forterra CL is equipped with a four-cylinder engine with a power range of 96 hp to 136 hp and a 24/18 gearbox. Unlike the basic model, Forterra HSX is equipped with a more modern 30/30 gearbox with hydraulic reverser. The highest model Forterra HD offers higher power (up to 147 hp), it has a more robust body, suspended axle and multifunctional control panel.
Thanks to the combination of a strong engine and the higher weight of the tractor, the maximum performance is achieved under any conditions.

Powerful with low consumption
The economical engines with 16-valve cylinder heads are the result of Zetor’s own development and manufacture. The construction of the engine is perfectly tailored to meet the requirements of each specific model. With its 16-valve cylinder head economic engine, it provides long life, optimum performance while providing low fuel consumption. By meeting the “Stage Tier 4 (IV) Final Emission Standards”, the environment is not harmed with excessive pollutants from the engine, which is a result of Zetor’s very own development and manufacturing team.

Matching force and accuracy
Zetor develops and manufactures its own gearboxes using high-quality materials that provide endurance, efficiency and long life.
A higher number of usable speed gears keeps the engine at the optimum speed when working in the field, as well as during transport. This keeps the fuel consumption low. In the most frequently used working range, you can rely on 7 or 9 gear ratios, and benefit from automatic gear shifting even if the tractor is under load. The more comfortable gear shifting and easier operation of Forterra tractors are also enabled by the function of the automatic torque multiplier which that ensures automatic gear shifting of the multiplier depending on the engine speed.

Force and efficiency
Zetor FORTERRA tractors are equipped with electro-hydraulics from Bosch that offer high efficiency when working with coupled implements. Two auxiliary hydraulic cylinders ensure a uniform load of the tractor and a maximum lifting force of up to 85 kN. To make the work in the field easier and more quality, the tractor is equipped with an automatic headland turning sequence system.

Forterra HD is equipped with an additional four hydraulic quick couplers with electro-hydraulic control.
The unique HitchTronic system received a number of professional awards after it was put on the market. This system of automatic regulation of the rear three-point hitch does not require any setting of various types of regulation and their sensitivity. The system itself measures the soil resistance and regulates the three-point hitch adjustment accordingly to the current values.
The HitchTronic system thus increases the productivity of your work and, at the same time, reduces fuel consumption by 5-7%.
Comfort and good view
The Forterra cab is comfortable on any ground. When working, you will appreciate the excellent ergonomic design. The cabs of Zetor tractors are spacious and driving comfort is improved by the dashboard with intuitive control of the machine.
The Forterra HD is, in addition, equipped with a multifunctional panel on which all the important controls are combined. The driver has everything at hand, from hydraulic controls to the activation of the automatic headland turning sequence.

The front suspended axle of Forterra HD is structurally comprised of two separate and independently suspended half-axles. Thanks to smaller sprung masses, the axle has higher absorption and damping capacities and, therefore, a lower vibration level is achieved.
The mechanism of the independent wheel suspension is technically very similar to multilink car wheel suspension, therefore the drive in Forterra HD tractors is as comfortable as in a car.
The highest Forterra HD model is equipped with a 100% differential lock and headland turning sequence recording. The automatic headland sequence system reduces the number of actions at each turning to make machine control easier and to provide better manoeuvrability. This system is based on a combination of the automatic control of the front driven wheel 4WD, differential locks and the rear power take-off.
