Ive begun the process of converting my homebuilt Timberwolf clone splitter into a processor. Sorry for being slack with the pics, I keep forgetting the camera

The build thread for my splitter is here: http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/build-yourself/219145-woodsplitter-build-timberwolf-clone-7.html

Im using the Wallenstein WP processor as the basis for my conversion. Instead of the complications of a hydraulic saw, Im using a gas powered chainsaw. There will be a home made hydraulic winch as well

Log cradle. Made from 1.25" and 2" square tubing.

"Custom" bar nuts. M8x1.25 coupler nuts are not available local. So I welded a M8 nut onto a 7/16" standard coupler nut

Closeup of saw mount. Saw will be easily removable, just like the Wallenstein

How is your saw mounted on to the machine

I have been to alot of auctions seeing bits and pieces of firewood processors being sold. One guy worked for the state of Ohio and he even had the harvestor chain, bar, and pump aquired for his build. Several three valve bodies were also sold along with a three ft. x five inch cylinder. The stuff was not in one group but was sold thru out the day. I figured it out to late. Your build looks well thought out and nicely executed.
