You know your old when you have a going away party for you son on a Sunday, get back from church at 9:30 and then from 10 to 1 you set up your place for inside and outside for 14 people, cook on the grill that afternoon, and when everyone leaves at 5, after you feed the dogs and go lay on the bed, you just plain don't want to get up anymore.
Friend at church texted me at 5:30 if I was coming to the church's anniversary block party, and I was actually planning on going at the time in the morning thinking I would have plenty of time to make it after this party, but after laying down, I wasn't going anywhere.
When we first moved here, I could go through 6 or 7 fill ups weedwacking around the place and get it all done in a day non stop (generally under 8 hours). 20 years later here, if I can go 2 hours non stop, I consider myself lucky. Between my back operation and the shoulder replacement I need, I just don't have that non stop attitude anymore.
