What will they give you on trade for the L3800? You may be better off selling it outright.

Might be cheaper running a smaller cutter and making a few extra passes? I hate to see you take a beating on such a new tractor.

Re: L3800 WITH 14 HRS TRADE IN FOR A BIGGER TRACTOR
Would look at a MX5100 - MUCH larger frame, more loader and close to the price you are talking. I went from a 3700 to the 5100 and am very pleased with it.
May want to change the oil on the new one however......

L3800 with 14 hours sounds pretty good to me. Good size. Are you serious about 11,000 hours on the same oil in a Case? Not that I would do that, but I wouldn't mind having such a model if they are that bulletproof. Was that the Case 245, same one as your call out?

We got a good deal trading our 13 y/o JD 6210 on a 6230, better than we could get offered outright considering the deal they would make without trade, then what they offered for our trade. Same thing when we traded our Kubota L3710 on a L5740 last year. Try the dealers - they might surprise you. They don't drop 50% in value when you drive them out the door like a car. Can't hurt to ask.
L5740 w/FEL, 301.8 MiniHEX, RTV900, 13' tandem disk, 1 x 2 btm plow, 12' 3pt cultivator, bale spear, 7' rear blade, grading scraper, 6' KK tiller, pallet forks
