Horse Farm - Great Review. Would Buy Again!

I have a 10 Acre horse farm and I use the tractor for stacking hay. I can reliably lift 3 bales high and those are 5x4 900-1000 pound bales. I also use the L3710 for moving snow in the winter from around the farm and auguring holes for posts. The HST makes it very very easy for my wife to drive when I am not around. I have only have 3 issues. 1) The little light indicating glow plugs is intermittent. The plugs work but the light shorts out. 2) There is a safety switch for the middle power take-off . When it is bumped the tractor won't start. It is a stupid safety and took awhile to determine that was the reason the tractor would not start 3) there is a knob for the rear power take-off, which if turned does not allow functionality of the rear power take-off. It is very easy to hit in the winter when you are bundled up with large boots. Again, this took some time researching on the net to discover the problem. This should be somewhere less prone to getting hit or turned with feet. Other than that, it is an amazing machine. It starts in the cold and has never had a problem yet . I clean the filters and the oil regularly and never had any issues.

Pros: Simple to use, very relable, plenty of strength
Cons: Front lights are weak, bad placement of safety switch

How Did I Get Along Without This?

What a great tractor. Has FEL, front snow blower, rake, back blade, forks and cab. Sips fuel in an amazing way. I've redone my driveway, moved all kinds of dirt, stumps and trees. Used forks for brush and moving all the heavy things now on pallets that I couldn't move before. I've cut 22 cords of wood and used forks and bucket to move the wood and the new wood stoves. I can't wait to see that big snow blower throw this winter's snow. Well, I can wait a few more months that. The dealer has been excellent.

Pros: Ease of use, hydro-stat trans, turf tires, fuel sipping.
Cons: None.

Pros: With only 3hrs. of use it's early to be reviewing. I believe this Kubota l3710 will be about right for road, creek crossings, repairing waterways and driveway potholes.
Cons: Been used to larger JD tractors with select range, and quad range trannys, the GST will take a little getting used to. Few more hours and I will be good to go. Long and short of it is I already like it.

Nice Little Tractor

We purchased this tractor used with 2700 hrs on the counter. It has performed very well since we got it, we have not had to do any major work on it, only regular maintenance. We currently use it for logging, ditching, snow blowing in the winter and maintaining our 3/4 mile dirt driveway in the spring summer and fall. We use a 66 in bush hog box blade, a 66 in snow blower, a Wallenstein GX700 back hoe (this tractor is a little big for the hoe), and a few other home built implements. I would recommend this tractor to any one who is looking for a powerful compact maneuverable and versatile machine.

Pros: Weight to power ratio, manuverable, & reliability.
Cons: Price.

My L3710
Model Year: 2002

I have been overall very pleased with the operation and reliability of the tractor. This tractor is exposed to the elements at all times and is now beginning to show some signs of wear from the elements, seat cracking, decals peeling, fading of the paint, etc. Minor repairs have been replacing the positive battery cable end, cleaning/lubing/repairing the FEL control, straightening the tie rods after some heavy usage, remounting the FEL mounts correctly after one of the hydr bolts came into contact with the bracing (dealer installed the FEL wrong). The battery is just now showing signs of age (8 years is what I would consider to be excellent)

Pros: Easy to manuver and use.
Cons: It could use a little more power on the hydraulics.

Model Year: 1999

I'm extremely happy with the L3710. I bought it new almost 12 years ago. I have a FEL, box blade, tiller, brush hog, snowblower, forks and middle buster. This tractor has performed flawlessly. I'd buy this tractor again in a heart beat. Highly recommended!

Pros: versatility, size, FEL capacity, reliability
Cons: traction in deep snow or ice without chains
