I haven't seen what you are describing but pin on implements generally don't fit on a QA adapter unless you remove the adapter first. However, if you only need the QA adapter for forks then you could save bucks by just using the pin on forks and not bothering with the adapter. It only takes a few extra minutes to attach the pin version so if you don't anticipate changing implements multiple times a day just going with the pinned system can work well, especially with a BX size tractor where you can easily manhandle the bucket into position or use a tapered pin to line things up.

It's just a bracket that fits where the bucket would be, the pins from the bucket are actually used for the QA minus the center pin which is replaced on your bucket. Anything that's made to replace the bucket would work, it uses the standard pin spacing/location.

You drive up and roll the bucket back under the center pin, this lines up the two sides.

The two side's have quick pins, from the time your butt leaves the seat to the time your back in it could be 30 seconds for on or off but I have one sticky pin I need to figure out maybe remove some excess paint on the new adapter so it's taking me about 45 seconds.

Best part is I think in another week or so I'll have the wife trained to take the bucket off herself to mow.

Thanks for the detail pic's and descriptions. I stopped by another Kubota dealer today and got a quote of $1100 plus tax for the QA and forks (backplate and forks), so that's quite a bit better than my selling dealer. I decided to order just the QA for now since it would allow me to drop the bucket easier which will help when I need to store my BX25 in my shed with something on the 3PH. But, since it can work with any implement that has the same spacing as the bucket, I could opt for the Everything attachments forks at some point, or order the Kubota version. One thing the dealer couldn't tell me is what the weight of the Kubota forks is. I'd like to compare the weight to the Everythingattachments version to see which is lighter. The EA version uses 42" forks while the Kubota version is 32" so they must be lighter, but apparently, Kubota doesn't list the weight. Anyone know what the Kubota forks set up weighs?

Also, the dealer ordered the QA without deposit since I told him I'd really like to see it first, so if I don't like it, or change my mind, I'm not committed to it, yet.

After stretching the new guys wings this weekend I only used the thumb for a few tasks but was glad I had it so good choice. I am very amazed at the difference in capacity when working with stumps between the 1860 and 25D especially with the QA and forks.

That's an impressive size stump for a BX to lift! Nice!

Well today I weakened and ordered the Kubota forks for the BX. I would have made a set but no time to do it this time of the year. I did talk them down to $950. from $1100. but I already had the QC on the FEL. I could have got an aftermarket set BUT I live on a friggen rock out in the middle of the North Atlantic and shipping would be $250. so there's no winning going on here. Looks like the BX forks cost the same as the Kubota folks for out 5740  At least I'll have them next week. :)

Size was big for me too. It's not hard to remove the FEL but to do it once/twice a week is too much but dropping the bucket gets most of the maneuverability back. I'm really pleased with the new tractor but it does so much more my time is rqcoing up really fast, time to start budgeting more money for services...

Is that in funny money or American dollars? Haven't looked at the exchange rate in a while but that sounds like a pretty fair price.

Our dollar has been pretty much par for years now. Our buck is 98 American today. I just can't believe these forks cost the same as the 5740's forks :confused3:

I'm sure most of it is steel but you know that orange paint has been going up a lot the last two years:confused2::eek:

It is that special unobtainium in the Kubota paint that is so expensive. Kioti just uses Chevy Engine Orange which is still pretty cheap.

That's got to be the problem because the forks on our 5740 is black. Yup. Its the orange paint
