V8’s are definitely in the minority when it comes to heavy equipment though… by far. Yeah, but they’ve all been superseded now-a-days in the US by the inline 6 configuration. Nothing like the sound of a 2 stroke Detroit Diesel though… 👍🏼

I totally agree with that and I understand. However them forcing sub-par problematic emissions systems on the public is an issue. These systems are in need of a major overhaul / redesign when it comes to reliability. The public is paying out the nose, meanwhile they get a free pass.

Meanwhile the government specifically orders all of their heavy equipment, semi trucks, tractors, bull dozers, hummers, etc. without any emissions. They are exempt from all EPA rules. "Do as I say, not as I do" Some BS
