    Aftermarket L3430 AC compressor?

ROUSTABOUT, I just don't have the time to go chasing all that stuff down and if I can get it cooling again for $1K or less I'm good with that.

    Aftermarket L3430 AC compressor?

Thanks K5. I have looked at several online and the longest warranty period is one year but the one that you posted only has 30 days. I may have to just gamble on one of the ones with 12 month coverage. Thank you for your input.

    Aftermarket L3430 AC compressor?

Last year you guys led me through diagnosing my AC issue as far as I could go and I ended up taking it to the local Kubota dealer. Bad compressor was the diagnosis and they quoted $2300 to make it cool like new. Can't spent that much on it. I have looked at new aftermarket compressor and found...

    Printed shop manual?

I'm in the market for a shop manual in a 3 ring binder. I don't want a CD or a PDF on my laptop. And I don't want copies of copies of pages of a shop manual. Is the Kubota dealer the only place to get this?

L3430 AC compressor not kicking in

Well, I finally had a few hours to get back on this issue with rented gauges from the parts store. Both Low and High sides have ZERO pressure whether the tractor is running or not so I'm not chasing a voltage/clutch or relay issue.

L3430 AC compressor not kicking in

There is actually a factory installed coupling in one heater hose that's in the perfect place for a shutoff. Tomorrow I'll drain the coolant and take that coupler with me to size the fittings for the shutoff. I made some more progress today as well but for now that is under my hat.

L3430 AC compressor not kicking in

Tx Jim, I get it that the coolant pressures need to be checked. My intention is to eliminate a lack of voltage or other electrical failure before I get someone else involved OR buy gauges myself. Just the elementary stuff that doesn't cost me anything is what I want to eliminate. AND, I will...

L3430 AC compressor not kicking in

I don't have gauges to check pressures. The ambient temp was 82 degrees. Since the compressor clutch isn't engaging at all I suspected something electrical....a relay.... I will momentarily jump 12V to it tomorrow to see if it engages and I will also try to track down that relay that diesel85...

L3430 AC compressor not kicking in

This is a well maintained 2004 L3430 HSTC with 1005 hours on it. The screens are clean and the freon is good. Before I start trying to trace wires tomorrow I wanted to ask if there is a relay in the AC circuit that may have died. Over the years since 2016 when I bought it I have had an...

    L3430 HST transmission drain plugs

I'm doing the 800 hour transmission service on my 2006 L3430 HST and the manual that came with it shows 4 drain plugs. One on each brake housing, one at the differential and one further forward. I have taken the first 3 out and drained that fluid. There is no regular drain plug further forward...

NH 450 Sickle Bar mower question

I just acquired a NH 450 sickle bar mower and have not even hooked it to my Kubota L3430 yet. I'm wondering if it's feasible to add a lift cylinder to it to adjust to the angle that the bar will raise and/or drop to as I will be cutting along a ditch bank. One ditch will require that I have my...
