    Intl. 684 losing power

So, I tried removing the fuel cap and that didn't change the behavior. However, the fuel seems to surge as much as it dies back. The power revs up and then nearly dies, and oscillates like that back and forth. Perhaps, that is something different than it not getting fuel if its revving up?

    Intl. 684 losing power

I have an International 684 Diesel. It runs great for about 10 minutes after starting cold. However, each time, after about 10 minutes it starts starving for fuel. I've replaced filters and cleaned the lines from the fuel tank to the filter. I'd take suggestions for next steps.

    JD3010 Diesel won't shift

I just fixed a hydraulic fluid leakage issue in the valve bank for the brakes of my John Deere 3010 Diesel. The tractor sat for several months prior. Now that it's put back together, I can only shift into gears when the tractor is turned off. When I start it up, I can't shift out of neutral. I...

    JD 3010 Electrical

I've got a John Deere 3010 Diesel with a 24 volt system. I've had an issue this winter when I've turned the key the engine will crank and will not stop cranking when I back the key off. This has happened sporadically often until it drains the battery and I have to disconnect and recharge...

    JD 34 Sprocket

The sprocket that turns the apron will not move on my JD 34 spreader. If I apply down pressure by hand to the outer steel plate it will then turn. Any ideas? I don't know what the various parts are called. The rod that rises and falls vertically had lots of slop. Maybe too worn causing the...

    JD 3010 won't fire

Here is another photo. I tried bleeding at the fitting shown in the arrow and didn't get anything. This line out from the injector pump leads to that same fitting from my last photo. Any advice on where to bleed the system would be much appreciated.

    JD 3010 won't fire

I got the fuel filters to bleed. I disconnected the line at the injector pump that came from the fuel filter, gave a hand prime on the lifter pump and got fuel. Then I opened up the fitting shown on this photo and cranked the engine. Air spat out a bit, eventually it started, ran a few seconds...

    JD 3010 won't fire

My John Deere 3010 Diesel was running like a top. Then the next day it wouldn't start. Plenty of electrical power but it wasn't getting fuel. It would fire when I gave it a puff of starter fluid but would quit instantly. I changed the fuel filters. I tried bleeding the fuel system with the...

JD 3010: Oil dripping from everywhere

My john deere 3010 diesel recently started dripping oil slow from several locations. The dipstick showed it had plenty of oil. I was told by a guy that when it's really cold (as it has been) that oil may leak. I didn't worry about it too much. Tonight there was a loud noise while operating. Then...

JD 3010, moving tire on axle

I'm trying to move the tire outwards on the axle of my JD 3010. I have attached a photo of the outside of tire. There are 3 large bolts on the outside of the tire and inside. I backed all 6 off. Now I'm trying to loosen that "Set screw" type bolt that seems to fit along the grooves on the axle...

    JD 3010D Brakes

The brakes recently started grinding on my 3010D. Do I just need to replace shoes? I have several small farm jobs I need to use the machine for right now so I am reluctant to get into replacing brakes right now. I am putting myself at risk of major damage if I continue to use it in a manner...

    46A Loader

I have a John Deere 3010 Diesel Loader and I am looking at purchasing a 46A loader. The 46A loader doesn't have a bucket however. My question is how universal are these bukets? Will I need to find another john deere bucket or will I likely have more flexibility?

    JD 3010D Starter/Ignition Switch

I recently purchased a John Deere 3010 Diesel that had been sitting for several years. It is a 24 volt system. I have replaced the voltage regulator, solenoid and batteries. Also, I have had both the generator and the starter rebuilt. It doesn't want to start now. When I crank the engine it...

    JD 112 Electrical Oops

I have a little problem with my John Deere 112 lawn tractor. Accidentally, the positive battery cable that connects to the top of the solenoid was position in such a fashion that it touched my steel gas tank when I was turning the engine over. The steel gas tank is mounted to the frame. There...

    JD 112: Wiring Short

My John Deere 112 lawn tractor has a wiring short somewhere and I'd like some some insight on how to best find it without willy nilly just starting to replace wiring. First off, I'm assuming it's a wiring short. Sometimes I get lights and the electric lift to work while the starter won't crank...

    JD 3010D electrical not working

Hello, I have a newly acquired John Deere 3010 Diesel (24volt). Right away I had the generator repaired. I fired up the tractor for the first time. Come to find out I was supposed to set the polarity on the voltage regulator. As a result of not doing it, I fried the wire that runs from the...

    battery for JD 3010 diesel

I have an arrangement to purchase a John Deere 3010 diesel that has been sitting unused for 7 years. The person selling it knows nothing about it. The batteries have been removed. I have heard conflicting info about which batteries it takes. Is it two 6 volts? Or two 12 volts? Any other comments...

JD 37A snow thrower not lifting properly

I recently purchased a John Deere 112 with a 37A snowthrower. I just attached the snowthrower for the first time. At first I wasn't able to attach the lift link because it wouldn't reach between the blower and the tractor. I loosened that long shaft that runs from the lift link to the rear of...

Outer Tie Rod Removal on Truck

I know this is a tractor forum but I like this site better than auto forums I have found. Here is my issue: I'm replacing the rack and pinion on my 2000 toyota tundra. Step 1, removing the outer tie rods is proving to be a stupid challenge. I got one off. But on the passenger side. I have tried...
