    Terra Force/Ansung Grapples - any reviews/experience?

When I posted that I wasn't aware that Terra Force was made in Korea. Now I know. And no, I wouldn't spend my money on a product with inferior steel just because it's in stock.

    Status of Everything Attachments

IronCraft is certainly USA manufactured, but NOT entirely USA sourced. Their own website says as much. Made in the USA with USA and imported parts. they have told me their steel is US-made steel so that makes a difference.

    Terra Force/Ansung Grapples - any reviews/experience?

I finally got up with someone at Ansung. It took them a minute, but they got back to me and said their steel is SS500. According to the intraweb, SS500 is a Japanese standard equivalent to our A36, so not the strongest stuff that grapples are made of. I've heard some people say don't get an...

    Terra Force/Ansung Grapples - any reviews/experience?

Wow. These things seem for sale many places (almost all kubota dealers as far as I can tell and most new holland/case). Surprised no one has experience with them. maybe that tells me what I need to know.

    Terra Force/Ansung Grapples - any reviews/experience?

These seem to be the same company. I'm looking for a grapple for New Holland 75C. Local dealer has a 72" terra force rake-style grapple with a single lid in stock for a really good price. I do want the rake-style grapple for what I plan on doing with it. Pros - it's in stock, great price...

Disc is kaputt. Can I finish with plow and drag harrow only?

Basically, the title says it all. Disc is out for a while (long story) and need to do complete planting, just one 2 acre food plot to go. I have a two plow turning/bottom plow, drag harrow and seeder left unless I can find a buddy who can spare his disc at this busy time of year, which is...

Need help identifying ford model/year and possible price

I have a buddy looking at buying an older used tractor. One his options is a ford 4000 or what is supposed to be a 4000. I thought it looked like an 861. Here is a photo Serial number is hard to make out. Best we can tell it says 12023. It's diesel. It has live pto with lever on left side...

Is it the transmission oil pump or main pump? Need help

I am fixing up a John Deere 2130 that the previous owner ran low on hydraulic fluid because of leaky seals on the lift arm. First, we fixed the brakes, one of which had frozen. Then, had to replace the reverser shaft. Now, it starts up and will work fine for a few minutes, then the power...

John Deere 2130 Engine Shuts Off When Releasing Clutch

Per my previous thread I received a John Deere 2130 from a family member (free). It would not go into gear. We are working on fixing it now. We discovered that all fluid had leaked from the seals at the load control arm. We have not split the tractor yet. We replaced the seals, and refilled...

Replace clam shell fenders for safety?

Won't be used with young uns around. I have never heard of a full vs. a "partial" ROPS though. The one I got looks like this:

Replace clam shell fenders for safety?

Per my other thread, just received a family member's 1978 John Deere 2130. Am having it tuned up now. I noticed that it has the old clamshell-style fenders. I have been told they aren't safe. Seems to me if you wear your seatbelt, they would be OK. I could replace the fenders with better...

Buying Advice  Opportunity or pass on this deal for John deere 2130?

Hello - first time post but long time reader of the site. Great info available here. For about a month I have been looking for a tractor. Will be doing about 13 acres in food plots and bush hogging and some road/loader work. I had been looking in the 40-50 hp range with 4wd/mfwd. My budget is...
