    TODAYS SEAT TIME

Got to do a little disking (actually turbo-tilling) today, until it started raining again. This thing takes more room to turn around than my Kubota.

    Check Chain Bracket Bolts

Mos of the check chains I have seen attach to the pin at the base of the top link. You may need a longer 3/4" pin to account for the thickness of the brackets.

Rotary Cutter New Rotary Cutter Set Up Issues

Move the lifting struts for the arms to a hole farther away from the implement so they give you more lift. I has a similar problem with a disk and had to move the struts to the front hole to get enough lift.

    Sprayer issue

I had a problem last year with an occasional pressure drop on my sprayer and traced it to the hose on the suction side of the pump collapsing. I replaced it with a "suction hose" and no more problem. When I bought the sprayer new at the local farm store, all the hoses on it were the black...

Needed to get the camper out of the barn, but a little too muddy for the truck. Old faithful handled it just fine.

    Sunk the Kubota

A couple days after having underground service ran to the new shop, I decided to start working on getting the yard back in shape, oh yea, it rained 4 inches the night the backhoe left. The old 4020 saved the day.

Posted signs on lug "T" posts

Had to put Posted signs up at church last year. Neighbor kids were riding around the gym and all over the grounds. Cut a groove in some 3/4 plywood, filled it with construction adhesive, then screwed it to the T post. Mounted signs I found on Amazon.

    Howse

So what happened to Howse? Been searching this morning and found a little information about an auction this week for the buildings/intellectual property..... Their website is down and FB page has September as last activity from "them". Just wondering.

    L3240 Filter delima

Just did the 400 hour service on my L3240 and have a little issue with my hydraulic filter. I crossed the OEM filter (HHTAO-37710) over to a NAPA gold 7098. Upon removal of the old filter, I noticed a magnet, so I cleaned it and put it in the new filter. The new filter is leaking because the...

    LPGS disapointment

Last week, I purchased a 6' Howse brand dual edge grader (LPGS to everyone else). Put it to work for about a half hour as soon as I got it home, behind my L3240, in my driveway and access road. I was quite pleased with the job it did leveling and smoothing but wasn't so pleased when I unhooked...

    L3240 woes

My L3240 is having "spells" where the rpm's drop abruptly with no adjustment to the throttle lever. It has happened going across the field bushhogging, and going down a level paved road. Throttle is set to wot with 2700 rpm showing and it will just drop to 1000 rpm. I can clutch it and it may...

    L3240 brake lights

Do some models of the L3240 have rear brake lights that work? I have an open station L3240 and noticed double filament bulbs and 2 "hot" wires going to the lights in the back of the fenders. The "dim" running lights come on with the light switch, but don't get the "bright" with any combination...

    Cheaper Quick Hitch

I have one of the cheaper Cat 1 quick hitches that I picked up at my local Rural King. From looking at pictures, pretty sure it is very similar to the one HF sells. (different decal?) When I use the Cat 3 adapters, they fit snugly into the lower hooks but the latch that pops out is quite a...
