I've got a 4720 with MotionMatch and LoadMatch. Can anyone explain to me what these are and what they do? And how to use them?

Going a few months without a tractor was worth it. Somehow, I figured out how to convince my wife we needed a tractor and skid steer. It helped that my F-I-L partnered up with me on the Cat. Now, if I could just get some seat time.

I'm looking to do some trenching work. Any opinions on a pto driven trencher vs. a skid steer attached trencher? I have a CAT 246C and a John Deere 4720 tractor to work with. A CAT T6 trencher attachment is going to run me $4600. Haven't found a pto trencher yet.

My father in law (Sir, to my son) got his new 2WD 990 yesterday. Attached is a Woods 72" finish mower. Perfect machine combo for what he wants it for. I enjoyed mowing on it a little this morning. Quiet, turns tight, plenty of power. I was impressed.

The two loader "shoes" that attach the buckets/bale spear, etc. are tilting at a different rate. It's difficult for me to synch them to pick up my bucket. They work fine once I have the bucket pinned on. Anybody know how to adjust the pressure or speed?

Has anyone had a 4120 tuned up to a 4720 or better? I know JD wouldn't like it, but for less than the $5-7k difference in cost, you'd think you could find a mechanic that coul do that.

If you buy a tractor with a FEL, can you buy a rear blade and still do all of the things you could with a box blade? It seems to me that a FEL could do the dirt moving that the "box" on a box blade does. I know it depends on what you want to do, but just wanted to hear you guys' opinions.
