Hello All, I'm brand new to the forum and I thank you for taking the time to help me out!
I have a 1984 B6100 HST w/ a Woods FEL. I have an opportunity to pick-up a Kubota L4520 Backhoe attachement. I have measured everything up and am very confident (with very slight mods.) it will hook right up. My only question is the GVW of the backhoe (1000lbs). I am concerned that this is to heavy for the rear axle to carry. I have seached for the maximum rear load weight for this tractor, but have had no luck. Since the backhoe is self contained and easily hooked up or removed, I'm not concerned with the general driving it around attached. So, it would be a constant load, but I'm still concerned about the weight. Also, the way it attatches to the rear is through the drawbar receiver at the rear and a subframe to the front. There is no 3pt hitch involvement. Also, the rear tires are not loaded. Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated!
