Try a scratch awl and the air compressor to blow out the dirt

While you're in there, replace the fan belt! It's a real pain to replace once the front pump and adapter are installed!
Or put the linked belt on it, that is what we did with Dad's old Massey Industrial loader tractor.

I'm happy to report that progress was made.
The most difficult part was the 3 bolts which hold the adaptor plate in place.
With spring washers added the bolt heads stuck out too far and would hit the housing at the 6 o'clock position.
I cleaned the holes out multiple times with multiple taps making sure to blow the holes out with compressed air.
In the end I had to cut off roughly 4 threads of length from each of the 1.5" bolts and reinstall without the spring washer.
This is the only way the bolt heads were able to clear the housing.
Going to run it like this and check the bolts diligently over the first few hours of operation.
Will likely apply some level of locktite if all goes well.

Installing the front guard was a bit of a bear. Needed to use a farm jack to get the wiggle room needed in order to lineup some of the bolts.
Arms went on quite easily after ensuring they were on the proper side of the tractor.....duh!

I picked up the balance of the hardware and hoses last night.
Will chip away at it this week with hopes of being done by next weekend! MF65.JPG
