This topic has been discussed before so the Search function may be your friend. In any event, Bobcat initially had no bridging solution between the 7 and 14 pin harnesses. I don't know that they do now. Everything I've learned is that it is not a simple process as the 7-pin connector is actually part of a data bus rather than a simple single or double function per pin setup (i.e. 14-pin). However, my BC mechanic says they can be adapted.
I'd take a DC voltmeter and check the correlation (if any) between attachment control position switches in the cab and voltages on the pins. BTW, IIRC both power and ground pins exist within the 7-pin setup. The intent here is not necessarily to come up with a solution but rather to get familiar with the 7-pin setup so you can tell whether or not the people you talk with know what they're talking about. I've heard a fair amount of conflicting info about the 7-pin/14-pin compatibility and I'm not sure who to believe.
