Hi Scott

I hear ya. I'm working through a pile of BF parts in my shop getting them ready for primer and paint. Figure another 2 weeks to finish the cleaning job.

I have to finish restoring that BF. If I don't, I can't justify buying a one-ton flatbed truck and gooseneck trailer to haul it to the club's parades. And I really, really want that truck and trailer.

Seems like it takes me forever to make progress on my restoration projects. Last week the engine for my 1951 Minneapolis Moline BF went to the machine shop (cylinder honing, 0.020" oversize pistons/rings, 0.010" off the crankshaft, 0.010" undersize main and rod bearings, exhaust valves, valve seats for unleaded gas; flywheel, head, block ground flat). Ordered the parts today. Crankshaft machining this week. Hope to have the engine back together late next week. Meanwhile, paint removal work (really boring).

Once I get the mechanicals going.. I try to do the body work and paint fast.. lotsa rain here and exposed metal rusts fast.. thus i tend to work on a part and prime it and sometimes hang and paint it in the barn, then fit it up later.

Makes sense to me. Rain and rust are no problems here in the North Sacramento Valley from June to October. Bone dry and hot.

Maybe you could help me with my 2600 gasser,with a Holley carb.I'm looking for and exploded view of the carb.I installed a rebuild kit and it runs better than before but, I think the float spring is on backwards.
Do you know of any good resources on the web?

Soundguy,that's exactly what I needed!
My tractor only has 865 hrs. and has been barn kept most of it's life.
The only issue I have now is that it slightly smokes (black) at idle.
Maybe it's running a little rich?
Thanks for the great help.
