FYI I'm 40 miles East of Syracuse on the South shore of Lake Ontario- we get our share- check out this link-

America's snowiest places? Weather.com lists them - U.S. News

PS. I was born and raised in Oswego, NY- In 1966 one storm dumped 108" in 4 days- took 2 weeks for folks to dig out-
Good Luck with your blower purchase-

I think you meant West of Syracuse and the shortest route is 62 miles by road to Williamson. I'm 20 mi. North of Syracuse and about 20 mi. SE of Lake Ontario also in the snow belt. I put a PA plow on my 3037HC. Snow blower doesn't work too well on my gravel drive no matter high the shoes are.
Buckster and Finn, Congrats on your new tools.

I'll try to get some up. I don't have it on at the moment as still getting wood in and using the tractor…but I'll try to get some pics. I do have the subframe on. you can use the loader while the subframe is on.

You are correct - my dyslexia must have taken over- West of Salt City/South of the Lake they call Ontario....my blower eats some gravel but not much with extended shoes set high.

I have the smaller unit (54"?)-paid 2600-on the front of my 2023- I have a 850' gravel driveway and the blower works fine here in upstate NY(Rochester)-As I understand it the LS blowers are made by a Canadian company for LS - the company has been around for awhile and my view is if your making blowers in Canada and are still in business then the blower must be OK. I also fabbed up a hydraulic chute control for mine -using the remaining hydraulic output-couldn't see the 8-900 bucks for factory control. It works great but 70-80 hours of blowing is far beyond my 15-20 per season. Hope this info helps-Good Luck.

I priced one and was shocked. The LS3150 front mount snow blower sells for $4099.00 plus tax and shipping here in Michigan. Maybe the dealer quoted me the wrong unit, or you got a heck of a deal?

I'd like to think I got "one heck of a deal" but probably not- I purchased the blower along with my 2023 by trading in a12 yr old JD725 with a blower attachment. The JD by itself isn't worth much but I think the front blower isn't made anymore and the sales guy's eyes lit up when I suggested I trade my current snow removal set up for a frt. mount blower for the LS. BTW it may have been $2800 added to the deal for the blower-
