One could guess that if 40% of the population accounts for 34% of the injuries, they are probably tougher than the rest of the population, not softer.
There’s still a lot of love for country in the south and Texas. My recent visit to Texas left me in a state of shock. American flags and Texas flags flying everywhere. Patriotism in the air. Same with Florida. you go down there and actually return to PA feeling like some patriotism still exists.Yeah, certainly when I was in it seemed most of the folks around me were from southern states.
It has a lot to do with the location of military bases. Children of those in the military are more likely to join the military.
Some will be less likely due to join the recent renaming of numerous military bases.
