The attached information is intended to help the forum readers get to a meaningful discussion with their dealer on a fair price. This information on the older "D" models helped me and my dealer (very good by the way) come to a fair price.
The CUT tractors from New Holland are costed (from NH to the dealer) by a book held by the dealer. The way this works is explained in the following thread.

In the past we lost exposure to the factory codes for the D and DA models because the web sources eliminated their column on factory codes. Here is a 2003 listing with factory codes for the DA models. Keep in mind that your dealer has seen increases since 2003, so you will need to up front ask him for price increases he has seen in the last 24 months.

Again - this information will work for you if you understand that a fair mark-up for the dealer is required to keep him in business.
