Couple of tricks for your failed Fuel Shutoff Solenoid on a Deutz

Thanks for the advise and welcome note. Highly appreciated.
The Deutz engine is actually in a 14kw - 440volt power generator.
My son has got a John Deere driven 66kw - 440volt generator to power his whole supermarket. Impressive, powerful and trouble free generator.
I live in South Africa and the loadshedding/power outages are non stop.
I don't want to get an aftermarket part. It spells trouble in breeding in the short term.
Can you suggest a online company where I can buy the proper part?

Sorry about your power troubles; I know that it's been a problem for a long time.

I'm not sure I am the best person to advise you on where to buy parts in SA. Importation can have all sorts of issues. There is an in country dealer;

Make sure that the fuel rack is all the way over, i.e. off, when installing the solenoid.

Best of luck,

Peter
