Depends on how well the connections are sealed. I would presume the builders are using gasketed Molex plugs but I've seen them allow moisture in anyway. One thing I do is I coat the plug ends in dielectric grease and the sealing 'O' rings too. I'd bet new car builders never do that.Where they use lot road salt in the winter,wonder how long before corrosion takes effect on the electric areas.
My liberal friends are not in love with Tesla anymore. (Many own them). Most citing Elons purchase of Twitter. Funny it has nothing to do with the car now.
