Everything attachments box blades

Thanks for the update... good luck with getting your tractor going again. I have been hearing about this issue more and more and I hope I don't have the same issue with my new DK40.
I have been looking in my area for the past 2 years for a decent used box blade, they have either been trash or the same price as new, so I am going with new before the summer is out. Which is why I am curious about your feedback on the EA one.

Just arrived and was off the truck pretty quick. There are a few scuffs from the shipping but nothing too bad. Looks real nice and I put on a couple cat 2 to 3 bushings and had it on the quick hitch in less than a minute. Even though it was listing to one side on the pallet, Top n Tilt made hooking up a breeze.

Now I can start on my duck ponds.....

Wowza. And I thought my 78" looked big. That is one wide BB!

RJJR- Did you ever get to use your EA box blade? If so... what do you think of it?

Thank you,

For those who advised on buying used I'll just say I tried for 9 months and they are scare in these parts or they are ragged and folks want $500 and up for them.
thanks

It's funny, I paid close to triple that for my USED box blade. You'll often find that you will pay more for a real good quality used implement than a light duty brand new one. Sometimes the light duty ones are more than sufficient and sometimes there not. A lot depends on your uses, wants, and availability. Nothing wrong with the lighter units if that's all you need though. I'm just pointing out that its not surprising you aren't finding 4 thousand dollar box blades for sale used for under $500. If you were, you could make a killing reselling them!

That is an excellent looking box blade. Time to get it dirty now.

I did get it. The shipping time wasn't as quick as some. I didn't look exactly but it was about 3 weeks or better. I know some people have complained theirs came in skint up but I didn't have that problem. It looked fine. However, every bolt on the bottom that holds the blades in place was loose. I had to put a wrench on all of them and got a couple of turns on them. Unfortunately, I can't tell you how it works yet. I've been out of town and came back today to use it and it appears the switch on my tractor is bad. Only 110 hours on it. So the tractor, hooked to the box blade is under my shelter where I parked it after hooking to it the day they delivered it. I'll provide an update once I get to put it to work. I have some swells to cut down and I'll let folks know how it works considering its weight. For those who advised on buying used I'll just say I tried for 9 months and they are scare in these parts or they are ragged and folks want $500 and up for them.
thanks

I ordered an (Temporarily blocked due to reports of company closure) scraper blade this past friday. Man, I hope it doesn't take three weeks to get here. I really want to get my road finished before football season overtime starts up!
