Ford 1700 Clutch

   / Ford 1700 Clutch #11
I am in the process of replacing the clutch on a 1500 at the moment. I went ahead and drained all the fluids before starting and removed the lines. I figured it would be better than potentialy crimping or bending them when I split the case. I started a thread about it a couple weeks ago that you can take a look at (Ford 1500 clutch replacement).

So the tractor is split. The pressure plate levers failed. They must have been out of adjustment. Does anyone know how to get the flywheel off.

The flywheel should have 6 bolts or so in the center that bolt it onto the crankshaft. If you've removed the 4 to 8 bolts that hold the pressure plate onto the flywheel(and remove it) you should see the bolts I'm talking about. Like this: First picture is the pressure plate, second is the flywheel........these pics are NOT from your machine.
