Ford New Holland 1720 (and others) Rear Remote Valve

Hi All,

I'm trying to gauge interest on people looking to add a rear remove valve(s) to the 1720. I've been making a kit for the 1710 (see picture) but have come across a few people looking for a kit for the 1720. This would be a replacement for part number SBA340002301, which I think is NLA. I believe this will fit the 1320, 1520, 1620, 1715, 1720, 2110, and 2120 tractors. I've just become aware of a 1720 nearby that I could use for taking measurements and developing the kit if there's actually any interest. This puts a hydraulic valve right under the seat, rather than a power beyond adapter like Tisco or SMA HV4945.

Tedward- I am new to the tractor world and love my 95 1720 for cottage work but would love some hydraulics at the back ! How did you make out tooling up for the 1720 - if you were successful I’m very interested. Thanks

I've started to design the adapter block that the valve mounts to so am making progress on the kit. Once I machine a prototype, I'll be looking for someone to test it out on a tractor. I'm not sure the guy that owns the 1720 nearby will let me mess around with his tractor.

If you wanted to send me a few pics of the right side below the seat where the valve attaches and the sheet metal where the three point levers pass through to the operator area that would be helpful. I think the 20 series tractors have more sheet metal panels than the 10 series so may have to make a custom lever for the valve to get through covers. Thanks!

Ted-I’m interested in rear remote valve for my 1720. Did you figure out making them?

I've got a design 90% complete in CAD so just need to finish that up and then machine a prototype. I recently had a job change so this got delayed a bit. Hoping to get back to working on it soon!
