Gee. As many times that I've went by there I never noticed that rock :confused3: I can tell you that if anyone could dig that thing out it would be your dad for sure. One of the best friends I had but when he got something in his mind you just got out of the way ;)

Dad did have a stubborn streak, glad I didn't turn after him! lol

Get your Belarus in there to move that thing. Can you get a chain around it and drag it with the bigger tractor. I would move it for you with my LS P7010C if you weren't a couple thousand miles away. Looks like you have some sibling rocks gathered around it for family support also.
Thanks for the offer Garry, but I don't think my Belarus would have done much other than spin! Here are some pictures of the rock being taken out and the machine that did it. :cool2: The operator said it wouldn't have lifted much more weight. Just notice the size of the loader compared to my 9' Belarus, and the weight bearing down on the front tires compared to the rears.

Well I figured it would be smooth digging now that the ROCK was gone, but no, I had to find another about ten feet away! :confused3: Not as large as the first, but still bigger than what I could remove. I guess one was male, the other female cause there's a bunch of youngin's all around. After this one was removed, I used my Belarus to move some smaller rocks to fill in the hole and then back filled with the blade. I have about another 15' to dig out across the back, and hopefully I don't find "her MOTHER"!

Here is the rock I said I would post a pictures of. My father dug this one out with a D6 dozer about 40 years ago. :drink:

Now that's a man's rock. Biggest I have ever seen moved. Where I used to live they used to bust them up some with dynamite to ease the removal effort.
