2003 Kubota B7500 hst
Hi All
I have a 2033 b7500 hst tractor and I bought a used front sweeper and a quick hitch. For the life of me and after talking to messics and my local dealer and posting on another forum, I cant figure out the missing parts to make it all work.
Do any of you know what parts I need to compete the following installation? 2003 B7500 tractor to BX2537A sweeper through B2733A front hitch. The sweeper came with a front driveline male shaft that is too short (12") I measured about 19"-20" length needed. (or maybe I need a longer output shaft on the quick hitch?) Also the output shaft thats on the hitch measures about 17.5" and needs to connect to the rear PTO. I was told maybe the 44" part # 7060-02186 shaft would fit. Can anyone verify that or have any input on this?
Thank you

It's either 70060-02183 or 70060-02186.

Hi Diesel85
Thanks for your help and Sorry for the late reply.
I need two parts. I need to replace either the front DRIVE LINE - MALE PART that is too short or the output shaft that mounts to the hitch and then I need the driveline that connects the output shaft to the mid pto, Please see attached pictures when you get a chance
Thanks again man!

The shaft with the black plastic shield on it should have some telescopic length in it.

A driveshaft shop could lengthen your existing male shaft.

Mid PTO to quick hitch shaft # on mine is B2734. The other shaft for the front on MINE is, BX2735, 1/2 shaft they call it. Good luck, Kubota sure does make this stuff CONFUSING.

Hi SwampCat. Ok it sounds like you have the same setup. I really appreciate the help. I would like to beg you to measure the parts you have.
I put the B2734 part on my cart. it shows up as 70060-04541. Ill wait to confirm before I order.
On the front 1/2 shaft ... I think I have that one but its too short. Even if I use the full telescopic length as DaveM7040 mentioned before. If you can measure all the parts you have I will at least be able to have a shop make them. Maybe its possible that my output shaft is too short (the straight one on the quick hitch that sits on the two bearings). If you measure everything I might be able to figure out where it fails.
Mine, from mid pto to implement measure as follows (approximations) mid pto >44" to > 17" output shaft to >23" to implement connection. Im calculating these lengths with enough play for normal operation and also room to lock the parts together.

I really think I have a short output shaft...maybe there is a longer one

I have the same quick hitch as you, I doubt Kubota made different legnth shafts for that. The mid pto shaft is also a fixed legnth, so that should stay the same. The front half shaft I have is for a BX2750C snowblower, so your sweeper MAY be different. Would gladly measure for you, BUT, I am 350 miles from my tractor.

Lol! 350 mile measuring tape will be hard to come by. I ordered part KUBOTA BX2735 HALF OF FRONT DRIVELINE. Will wait to receive and check fitment. I you _or someone else_ happen be able to measure by then I would appreciate the feedback. I will update this thread when I know more
Thanks again

spirostats - I have a 2003 B7500 HSD-R that runs a B2781A snowblower through the B2733A Male Quick Hitch and Subframe. The Mid PTO Drive kit, from the subframe shaft to the mid PTO, is a B2734. Note the B2734 is a complete assembly which includes the P/N 70060-02186 Fixed Driveline and 24 other parts. My Half Driveline (Male Part), from the implement Half Driveline (Female Part) is a B2736. According to my Operator's Manual, The Half Driveline (Male Part) for BX implements, such as your BX2537A, is BX2735. Both the B2734 and BX2735 are "Wholegoods" which are ordered through the Sales Department at my Kubota Dealer, not through the Parts Department.

Best wishes!

spirostats - Any chance the person from whom you bought the sweeper and quick hitch might still have the B2734 and B2735 shafts? Or perhaps he/she knows who might have them now?
