Just got slammed twice more today with the rain.

Man, I have lost some serious time on the projects. Must be at least 4-6 weeks behind schedule now....

Holy Sweat Drops Batgirl!

now you just roll the neck of that chilly long neck on your cheek and do a little much needed hydration :drink:

Big old thunderstorm rolling in, delaying my dinner!

Now PopTop, you sent it up my way, as usual, and didn't send it to Texas as you've been asked.
It would probably work if we got the Earth to spin in the other direction.

Payback!:D
And I've got a figure to maintain! Starvation is not an option. I've waged a lifelong battle on anorexia, and I'm winning!!

:D

I don't mind starving, at times, if that's what it takes. I just make sure to stay on the "drinking girl's diet"!

This is my 5,000th post.

Just thought I'd share that sily tid-bit...

God Bless all-o-y'all.

I bought me a BRIGHT RED little Ford Focus today for my commuting. should AVERAGE 31 mpg... and it is cute to boot...

Pix later, got dark...

Be well all,
David

I think you'll like that Focus. Of course the Focus replaced the Escort and there's been a number of changes, but we bought a new 1993 Escort station wagon with a manual transmission, and in more than 100k miles, the overall average was 32.585 mpg. When my wife totaled it, we bought a new red 1999 Escort 4 door sedan with automatic transmission; only put about 39k miles on it, but the overall average was 32.982 mpg. Generally, I think the newer vehicles get better gas mileage than the older ones did, so unless you have a lot of heavy traffic to drive in, I'd expect you to do even better than that 31 mpg.
