Am the OP, Have service manual and read it.
That's how I found the tach sensor.
I did one thing and one thing only, reseated the connection right at the sensor.
Problem solved.
Am convinced that some relationship exists between sensing RPM's and the stop solenoid such that at extremely slow HST speeds the solenoid is allowed to be open, but when more speed is requested at the HST pedal, then something trips the stop solenoid and shuts the engine down.
No such relationship is discussed in the manual, but it is exists.
Well just for fun you should unhook the tack sensor completely and see what happens.:thumbsup:
