This is a pretty neat thread, I always thought my little tractor was way too small for what I want to do, but reading through here it looks like I'm right in line with the majority of people.
My wife and I just recently bought 31 acres of some gently sloping and some steep area land in NH. It is almost ALL forested but the trees are relatively small.
I have a 45hp tractor with the attachments in my sig. We will use that to maintain and clear some land and eventually make some fields (I stress the word 'eventually' :laughing
We also have a full size backhoe that will help with the clearing, but will probably sell once we're done with initial clearing.
