International 574 wont start?

What color is the smoke when its running, is it a heavy "white' smoke.

At times, it lessens as it warms up. Once it's to temp it goes away.

The fluid leak is near the base of the radiator. Very slow leak. Never see it dripping but can find it on the front end near the pivot. If I can get it running I can put it in the shop and find the leak.

I would venture a guess you have a failing armature in your starter , Do you have an armature "growler " Any shorting problems in an armature usually show right up with this style of tester ,

I do not, not even sure what it is, but an armature short has come up in research before.
