If you think it would fit with adaptation I could purchase it ?

It's for sale because I don't need it. Let me look thorough the parts books tonite and I'll see what I think will work.. If someone could send me some pictures and measurements of the hitch for a 790 that would help. Basically what I would need is the height of the hitch and the measurement between where it bolts onto the frame of the 790.

Edited to add that the hitch for a 790 and a 955 have the same part number AM101729. So don't bother sending me the measurements as I have both hitches.

Picture from selling equipment. I think it's the best I have although not good enough. Even I had forgotten the complexity of that thing, seeing it now again. It was a HAPPY day when I came across this unit at a municipal auction!

If your neighbor still has the blower and / or mid mount mower I would be interested if you see him this weekend. Thanks

I shall see if he is about. I am curious if you know the complications of adapting someones blower? A friend tried to do this on his Cub Cadet. Then it all went south when he realized the "other" Cub Cadet tractor from which he got the blower, turned the other way!

Its no longer an option I am going to either a: buy a snow scoop quick connect bucket or b: sell my 790 and get a JD with a snow blower / FEL / mid mount mower and rear hydraulices......

Thanks

Well, if it's not too late, I'll tell you my front mount snowblower + gravel driveway story. I have an F-935 front mount mower and picked up a 47 snowblower to mount on it. I bought the pto reverser and made up a mount for it using square tubing. Yes It blows snow great. It also blows gravel, dog toys, and stones very well.

I have always used my JD 1070 with an 8' Meyers plow adapted to it. I use the loader hydraulic line for up/down and swing left/right. After 1 season of snow blowing (into my face as well), I'm going back to the plow. The 1070 has good ground speed and does not hesitate to push even wet stuff. My driveway is 800' and with a down and back trip, the machine has not even warmed up yet. The front mount blower deal looks cool and may be nice with a cab. But for the cost and time involved to get the job done, I recommend a plow. Yes you may need to push snow windrows off to the side once in a while, but you have the ability. Gravel everywhere at this point. Yes you can raise the skid shoes but now you have an icy driveway.

Neighbors were not up last weekend. The forecast said rain all weekend which did not happen but there is also the issue with the blackflies. I'm guessing, they will be up this weekend.
