who has knowlwdge of kodiak impliments and waht are you're thoughts. i hvae a 5' box scraper on order and was wondering what i was getting.
What I don't understand is why someone located in Maine would be getting a simple implement like a box blade from Tennessee. Isn't there a closer manufacturer. The shipping charges are going to add a bunch to the price.
Pretty simple really....None are made here!
My Personal Examples:
-Tractor: JD = Georgia
-Box Blade: Woods = Illinois
-Snowblower: RAD/Blizzard = Thetford Mine Quebec Canada
You make it sound like we all have the luxury of going down to the "Corner Fab Shop" and picking up a tiller or box blade...IMO if you buy from a sizeable dealer, shipping isnt even an issue... If you end up special ordering something needed "next day" then yes, you'll pay dearly for shipping. Even if its only shipping from the next county over...
Shipping is very much an issue. It affects price. It especially affects the price of heavy steel implements. Trucking charges are not cheap, and the dealer has to pay for them.
