KS family die in plane crash

Looks like a collision...That hole, oh man that looks like something hit it,
at right angles, hitting both wings at tips slicing thru the fuslage. 6'
of right wing still missing.

Plane flew thru restricted airspace.

Turn around to go look at something and get hit by it?

It will cruise at 270 knots (310MPH) Look at how high the wing tips are
at low speeds. Compare wing tip hight to fuslage hole.

I was certified solo at the 5th busiest airport in the US years ago. I have
sat left seat in King Class planes, this is just heart wrenching. Kinda hard
to explain but everyone whom has every held those controls feels this, heavily... a little piece of you is lost...

Well I will throw in my worthless guess. The cargo door came open, may or may not have come off and hit the rear stabilizer. Plane decompressed and pilot was not fast enough on the emergency oxygen and passed out or at least went dumb. And then it spiraled maybe taking part of the wing can't tell. That big hole looks more like impact damage with something on the ground.

These are the final Miami Center radar reports from flight aware, the aircraft had flow between 279 and 291 degrees climbing to 26,000 for approximately 26 minutes, after departing from KFPR to clear customs.

12:32PM course 291 degrees, speed 147 knots, 24,700ft, 480fpm Climbing

12:33PM course 87 degrees, speed 147knots, 25,200ft, 600fpm Climbing

12:34PM course 57 degrees, speed 68knots, 26,000ft, 360fpm Climbing

12:35PM course 43 degrees, speed 69knots, 26,000ft Level

12:36PM course 43 degrees, speed 255knts, 26,000ft Level

12:37PM course 43 degrees, speed 255knts, 26,000ft Level

12:38PM course 309 degrees speed 255knts, 26,000, -720fpm

The initial turn seems to occurred at the same time the aircraft was at, or below stall speed.

The final return with 309 degrees appears to erroneous as the on course heading would have been about that, and the aircraft never seemed to turn on course based on the track.

There certainly was something incredible happening with the speeds.

I believe that could be impact damage.

If an aircraft hits fairly flat, it is consistent for the tail to break off, which the tail did in this case.

Some of that opening could also be from the rescue crew.

A collision would have been recorded on radar.

Note: The dramatic speed changes occurred without any real change in altitude.

This seems to suggest, at least to me, it was being flown that way.

I guess it could perform like that? What is it, a 200MPH acceleation in a minute or less?

Interesting sectional, kinda adds fuel to my "Guess";

It's all ground speed, and your clearly you going to need help from the winds for speed to change that fast..

I also wonder how reliable this data is.

It's possible to envision a flat spin developing, as many would like to imagine here when the aircraft is potentially at stall speed. But, you obviously can't be going 255 knots, and still be at 26,000 a minute later if it was in a spin.

The climbing speed seems to be low for most of the departure. Is he really heavy?

From the pictures you included I would like correct my statement about the emergency exit being missing, it is clearly visible in the third photo.
Again, lets not jump to any conclusions, but I find it very interesting that the fuselage roof seems to be blown open.

Gawd it looks like a port to starboard collision. Did the pilot see something,
slow, call a mayday then get dragged up to speed explaining the anomoly in speed? Something looks awry here no matter how you look at it.
