In this class of tractor I think Kubota is the better buy, at least for me it would be. I prefer Deere more times than not but there are times I think other brands have what I like more. I even have an old Ford 3600 diesel that does a ton of work around my farm and I love it! I'm just not a fan of the 3032/3038 tractors. If I wanted a tractor that size I'd much prefer a 790, 990, 3005, or 4005 but they don't make those anymore.

An other vote for the Kubota If the difference in price is only about 1400 you could look at getting the 3901 and have the same HP as the deere but a better tractor. Have you looked at anything besides Kubota and JD? Lots of other good machines out there to consider and all of them are much better IMHO than the E series deere your considering.

Thanks to all for the input. I'll take the advice and rule out the JD. I'm down to the 2501 or 3301 K's/
