Land Pride blade to rake

Update. Buying a new rake, LOL The rake piece costs more than the whole new one. And the gauge wheels are as much as the rake.

I'm not surprised!
Now, you think the tines are close enough together to be a good leaf rake?
Maybe a towable leaf vacuum would be a better option?
I looked at rakes...prices for new ones really threw me off. Even used rakes with gage wheels are pricey. I found a used 84" one on CL, but it was gone the first day of posting

Prices blew me away too Roy. I never paid that much for the blade and hydraulic angle back back in 2013. And wild how you can buy all that extra steel for cheaper than the rake itself.

They got it figured out how to sell you new stuff, LOL

Not sure if the rake would work for leaves. But I feel like I'd get some use from a rake. Even for just cleaning branches and big rocks off my bush roads.

I would like to rake up bark in various areas of my meadow where I've split wood in the past. I'd like to take the cutting edge off my rear blade and attach some sort of "rake" but haven't thought of an easy way to fabricate the "rake" edge. Ideas?
