Morning,
I know - odd post ! We have a four year old Maytag Bravos, model MVWX550. It's a HE top loader, and it just started putting a puddle of water on the floor during use. I removed the panel that covers the cold/hot intake valves, since there is also a water streak running down the backside of the unit. The area around the valves had water in it. I cleaned it up, and ran a load of clothes. There was a drip or two to come out of the housing underneath where the valves are, and that was it until I got to the rinse cycle. Then as the washer filled up, water crept up from the housing into the area where the valves are. This is also when it started to leak onto the floor. I don't know anything about appliances, sounds like some sort of gasket/seal issue to me. I'm hoping someone can help and I've attached some pictures. Thanks.
