Price Check LX series

   / LX series #11
So LX build on the site now works.

I went thru the build for the 4 possible tractors I could see getting with R4 tires, loader with quick attach bucket, and ROPs for all.

LX2610SU - $20,375
LX2610 - $21,167
B2650 - $20,262
L2501 - $21,145

Seems the L2501 is still the best buy for the money even if it is more tractor than I will really need.

Be advised that the LX2610SU does not have a mid PTO whereas the LX 2610 and the B2650 do.

I was looking at tractors on Friday. The salesman was pushing me to the L2501, but I was really looking for a bit more power so I went to the L3301. It seemed to large to use in our barn. So I'm back to looking at the LX3310. The L is only about $1500 and out specs the LX in every way, but if it is too big to get in the barn and clean it out, it doesn't do me any good. They actually had an LX2601 sitting there still on the pallet, but no 3301. 0% for 86 months is tempting. Just have to convince the wife to let me sell the New Holland.

I pulled the trigger on a LX2610 to upgrade from my BX2680. They had one on the lot that I played around with for a bit but it had a big mark on the hood from transport I suppose. Anyhow their mother store had another 2610 in a crate so they are assembling it for me. Got it with a 60” MMM, loader, R4 tires and a 3rd Function. Should be ready for me to pick up mid next week.
