the mx4700 5100 dont have a strong enough fel cap my 1153 on my 7040 maxed out at 1800ibs at 800mm
The 1153 is more loader, for sure. Was just trying to make a suggestion for how to get a stronger loader and a 4wd tractor in about the same budget range as the 2wd 5640. Lots of people have and like the MX series equipment. Bill seems like a pretty sensible guy, so I expect he'll figure out what is best for his situation.

I had the Kubota M5040 with 4wd if just handling round bales and pallets it was fine in 2wd. Needs weight in rear and the loader is good for around 2400lbs.
I had rears loaded and it was still alittle light,couple more hundred of wheel weights would be good. I had a 700lb box blade on backHow much rear ballast did you require when lifting 2400#?
