Metric tool conversion

Mike,
I have no clue about the 19/32" sockets but LOL ... I still have one in extension sockets and also open end wrench. Turns out it is like perfect for a 15mm head size.

Good advice not buying the 29mm, it would probably round the corners anyway.

The ONLY matches of English to Metric I've found are 14mm=9/16" and 25mm= 1". Apart from these, nothing else really matches too well. You CAN use a 6 point 13mm on a 1/2 inch (12.5 mm) if it isn't too tight.

Also good substitutes - 5/16" and 8mm, 7/16" and 11mm, 11/16" and 17mm, 3/4" and 19mm, 13/16" and 21mm. Those last 3 are the most common sizes of lug nuts on most passenger vehicles and lots of shops use those sizes interchangeably with their impact sockets.

.

A 5/8 wrench will fit a 16mm hex.

Also related to this subject; a 10-32 and a M5x.8 bolt/nut are almost interchangeable. They will go together one way easily and the opposite way slightly harder (but it will still go).
