Hello everyone I am looking at a small utility tractor to buy to work around my property I have found a used one it is a 2017 GC1705 with 710 hours. They are asking $12,500 I don't have any pics yet but the one I saw on the ad it looked very clean but only one pic. is that a fair price or let me know what you guys think. Oh it has a loader that comes with it and the tires look good.

Thanks weeder

That's high for the amount of hours. That is what they cost new.

Well that is what I was afraid of I really didn't know the selling price of new ones, if the tractor looks and runs good I will try to dicker with him if not so be it it is his tractor keep it. Also what are the pros and cons of the GC1705?

The 1705-1720 models were made in Japan. They had very few issues and were very well made. Almost bombproof.

The new ones are manufactured in India I believe. There was some growing pains.

For reference: I paid 17,900 for a GC1710 in 2017. I remember vividly that a 1705 could be bought for 11,900 at that time.

To use the loader safely, you will need a counterweight on the back, whether a boxblade, weight box, or home made suitcase weight (250-400 lbs ideally).
Price seems high without a mower deck for the hours. Nothing to rush into.
Take some more pictures.

Check tractorhouse.com. I concur that the Massey made in Japan are very reliable. Had one for 5 yr.

What comes on it for that price?

If loader and mower, not a terrible price but try and get it for $11,500.

Ask him how he maintained it and how often he changed the oil. If it's been maintained 700 hours is nothing

No only the loader and nothing else.
