Every, let me say that again, EVERY manufacture has a problem once in while. Judging the manufacture by the problem is not always the way to judge them, but by the way that they handle the problem. By doing it that way, you know how the company is managed and if they will stand behind their products and your implements.

80% of warranty claim problems are the dealers attitude toward warranty claims. In most of the instances listed above we see the dealer took care of the customer not the MFG. Good dealers make every product better. Dealers do not have the time and it's not worth their time and money to jump through the hoops and do the required paperwork for something under $10. So a good dealer usually eats that warranty claim and the customer never knows it. The MFG may be informed with and email or a phone call that there is a problem but until substantial $$$ are involved the MFG doesn't warranty the failure the dealer does. This generally is the what happens with shortline products. Your warranty is as good as your dealer not necessarily the MFG of that product.

Nomad,

Your inference is absolutely right. Because of your well-reasoned, insightful comment I will hereinafter only buy implements made in some overseas desert hell hole by child labor using pock-filled, reworked metal of indeterminant origin, quality or reliability. That way, if I do have a problem, I can refer to my poorly translated manual or call the manufacturer on my dime on the slim chance there's anyone there with a better grasp of my language or attitude toward me or my country than you have.

On a side note, I can't help but wonder if, when you "put (your) helmet on (your) head," were you able to do that all by yourself or was there a proctologist involved? /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

If it wasn't for the USA, Turkey wouldn't have much of an economy. Think about what Turkey is today compared to its past .... do ypu remember your countries history???? Your country has a stellar history of Democracy to be proud of. Learn more about Turkey history here.... http://www.spartacus.schoolnet.co.uk/2WWturkey.htm . All those are anti-Turkey propagands. There are many enemies of Turks. Since our topic is farm-related I can say one thing to you without going off-topic.

Turkey is 1 of 7 countries in the world which can feed themselves without importing any food (grain, fruits, meats, etc etc.) All kinds of fruits, vegetables, etc etc are available for very cheap prices and Turkey is in top-3 producers in the world in many of fruits, pistachio, etc etc. I can have the truffle for FREE here. You need to read un-biased sources more. Also ask CCI.

Nomad,

I don't know but I would guess that those teeth/scarifiers would probably NOT made in the USA.

It is not WHERE something is made, but more by WHO/HOW that matters when quality is the question.

But somehow I think you know that...

Not that it matters since poor quality can be produced anywhere...but the sad truth is that if you want to buy something made in the USA these days you have to often look long and hard to find it.

Just because Nomad is not able to converse in the arena of viable ideas for the USA market, do not judge all of people of Turkey. Nomad is a socialist (Natural communist) by his own admission and is against capitalism unless that capitalism puts money in his pocket. The French helped prop up our weak economy up just after the War for Independence and lately the French have not been what we might call a close friend of the USA. Maybe the French will call their little bike race the "Tour de Lance" after this year. Just remember in today's society every decision is always about the money. Shaq wants to be traded to a state with little or no income tax, LOL. He has the rings and all he wants now is the money. The Turks are hard working people and have been very kind to me and my family.

I have met many wonderful Turks in my time, and not one of them would have had the audacity to make a statement such as you have made Nomad. If you don't care for our capitalist natures, why do you bother to come here and discuss all these capitalist ideas, telling us how you can manufacture all these bizarre, wonderful items, and try to sell them to us? You're not even a man of your own convictions. I'm happy your helmet is so strong, otherwise the lead might go through it. A few teeth break off of something and you automatically assume that every one will do the same. Obviously, you don't read the posts where many of us have said we have the same boxes with no problems. My, your just typically human after all. Isn't that a corker! John
