Yes Sodo, I know my trusty Henry can do the job, but I'm looking for some plans (i.e., drawings w/ dimensions) to build corner post wheels.

Heres some scribbling.
You make 2 lefthand and 2 righthand.
Note they can install BOTH long way and short way so you can re-mount the other way and shove the container sideways.
Or even pivot.

I need to move a 40 ft. container with a Ford 4000 (3 cyl. diesel). Can you turn "gentle" corners with your "four corners straight wheels" design and can you post a drawing with dimensions of your design (...because I hate to redesign the wheel and it looks like you are turning quite a sharp left turn in your 3rd pic! Lol)?

BTW, I would have posted some similar online versions of shipping container corner wheels and I have found (all without dimensions) but can't seem to find any way to post them from this 'droid. :-(

The tires would "scrub" just fine on dirt. make sure you have the maximum air pressure in the tires.
Once I started up the hill just around that turn, I ran 300" of 3/8 cable to a snatch block attached to a big poplar tree. I connected one end to the shipping container and the other end connected to the back of the tractor and drove the tractor down hill. It was much safe that way in case the container started to run away if I lost traction.
Sorry I can't give you dimensioned drawings. I attached a couple of photos.
I bought the trailer hubs from Northern tool. I did weld a piece of plate to the inboard stub end the of the axle to give it some support where it inserted into the 3.5 x 3.5 tube steel. The part that bolts to the container is just a 4 x 4 gusseted clip angle. You just need to measure any container to come up with the width of where the clip angle welds to the axle beam make sure you add 3/8 or so. That way the assembly will sip on easier. I welded A couple of D rings to the axle beam to connect the pulling chain bridle.
